Bring an instrument or a quartet and share your love of classical music. All ages and skill levels are welcome to share the floor at Tavern of Fine Arts. Open Stage Night is on the second Monday of every month. This is a fantastic venue to try out your sightreading skills, put the finishing touches on a concerto or even belt out your favorite aria. Bring your sheet music. The Tavern provides music stands, a six-foot grand piano and an accompanist from 7:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Admission is free.

Are you a smart alec? Have trouble wearing your serious face? If your friends tell you that you should be doing standup, “the Funny Bone at Westport has an open mic night for you.” On Tuesdays at 8 p.m., the Club welcomes local pros and amateurs to the microphone. Admission is $5. There’s a two-drink minimum per person, but you’ll have to decide whether to drink before or after you take the stage.
